This article is a work in progress - You can submit an issue or pull request to contribute. Presently, it feels lacking in transmasculine and non-binary resources. It also is lacking in articles regarding other identities on the LGBTQIA2S+ spectrum. You can submit some in an Issue.

Some FAQs

Do I have to have dysphoria to be trans?

Nope. You don't need any dysphoria to be trans. If you want to be a gender? That's all you need.

Just ask: Are you more comfortable living your life as a gender?

Do I have to medically transition to be trans?

No. You do not have to medically transition - The belief that you must transition is actually gatekeeping and is harmful - This specific gatekeeping is known as transmedicalism.

Can I change course if I realize I'm something else?

Yes. You can change course if you realize you're something else (or perhaps cis after all). It's okay to change your mind.

What is plurality/multiplicity?

Plural is a term used to describe systems of multiple people in one body, put simply. While they might not be LGBTQ+ by default, they are often included in LGBTQ+ spaces due to the discrimination they face. It is important to respect their identities and pronouns.

A YouTuber who creates meme collections, streams games, and collaborates with other trans creators. AvaThroughFire is a trans woman and uses she/her pronouns.

Trans Academy 501c3

Trans Academy is a Non-Profit 501c3 committed to fostering a safe, inclusive, and educational virtual environment that empowers the transgender community and their allies. They provide communities on Discord and VRChat, and also provide training, classes, networking, and other resources. Classes include voice training, computer science, etc.

The Orchard Discord Server

A Discord server for LGBTQ+, plural, therian, and so on individuals. It tries to be a safe space for all, and has a variety of channels for different topics. Note though that the rules are stricter than other servers.

Bridget is a character in the Guilty Gear series. Though born male, because of a myth in her hometown, she was raised female, and wanted to disprove the myth and prove herself as a man at the time. After successfully doing so, she realized she was more comfortable a woman after all. You may have heard some bigots claiming that it was mistranslation - No, it was fully intended by the devs, and the japanese version clearly states that she's a girl.

Brave hundreds of hand-crafted challenges, uncover devious secrets, and piece together the mystery of the mountain. Though not directly LGBTQ+, the game resonates heavily with many LGBTQ+ individuals due to its themes. The game's protagonist, though not overtly such in game, has been confirmed to be a transgender woman. The game's lead developer also realized she was trans whilst working on the final chapter of the game, she now goes by Maddy (full name Madeline Stephanie Thorson), she/her.
